Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Erde's Beltrame Kirchhofer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Romero Baumeister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beat Straumann kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Quint Sanger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Baba in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Eschlikon booed when Erde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quirin Rösli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, FC Eschlikon's goalkeeper Elias Schifferli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morten Sturzenegger. Quint Sanger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romero Baumeister's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Mathieu Lisibach charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathieu Lisibach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Erde booed when FC Eschlikon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu Lisibach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erde's Morten Sturzenegger got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quint Sanger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romero Baumeister in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Eschlikon getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dé Baba hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Erde's zone, Dé Baba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quint Sanger came out of the goal and Dé Baba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beltrame Kirchhofer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Elias Schifferli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dé Baba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quint Sanger having to interfere. In the 45th minute Beltrame Kirchhofer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Schifferli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Erde's goal looked a bit too open when Romero Baumeister came free, but Quint Sanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

FC Eschlikon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodrique Ludwig in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on FC Eschlikon's corner Rodrique Ludwig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Quint Sanger quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Dé Baba managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Eschlikon's supporters rose to their feet, but Dé Baba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quint Sanger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70thth minute of the game Beltrame Kirchhofer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Eschlikon's Elias Schifferli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quirin Rösli hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Quirin Rösli charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Rodrique Ludwig got in the 77th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Quint Sanger and thus it was 0-1. After having played for 79 minutes, Dé Baba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Eschlikon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Baba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morten Sturzenegger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederic Flückiger hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Beat Straumann was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Eschlikon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
