Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filippo Ackeret in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronan Vonarburg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronan Vonarburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Macchia in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, aurelFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuele Baertschi to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Novaggio FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Grover Huri hit a great ball. Rolf Scarano's late challenge caught a aurelFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolf Scarano helped the player get up and apologised. Rolf Scarano kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Novaggio FC's Grover Huri got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Jonas Macchia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but aurelFC's Ronan Vonarburg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronan Vonarburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grover Huri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronan Vonarburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odin Gier in the 19th minute of the match. Jonas Macchia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ronan Vonarburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grover Huri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Vonarburg having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, aurelFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuele Baertschi to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Jonas Macchia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ronan Vonarburg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jonas Macchia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novaggio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Macchia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronan Vonarburg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grover Huri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ronan Vonarburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grover Huri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronan Vonarburg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Novaggio FC's Jonas Macchia got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grover Huri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ronan Vonarburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronan Vonarburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grover Huri in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Novaggio FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grover Huri was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, aurelFC's Samuele Baertschi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Linus Teufer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ronan Vonarburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grover Huri in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grover Huri in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronan Vonarburg saved aurelFC from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, aurelFC's goalkeeper Ronan Vonarburg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Macchia. Ronan Vonarburg made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jonas Macchia sent off a good shot on target. Grover Huri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Vonarburg having to interfere. If Grover Huri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, aurelFC's Remo Bär got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Jonas Macchia came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Novaggio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Macchia couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Grover Huri notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of aurelFC's Ronan Vonarburg. Ronan Vonarburg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filippo Ackeret charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filippo Ackeret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grover Huri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Vonarburg having to interfere. With his leg Ronan Vonarburg managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Novaggio FC's Jonas Macchia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the match, aurelFC's goal looked a bit too open when Grover Huri came free, but Ronan Vonarburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. aurelFC's Ronan Vonarburg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save aurelFC from getting a goal against them. Jonas Macchia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Ronan Vonarburg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Ronan Vonarburg managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Novaggio FC's Jonas Macchia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 92nd minute, Jonas Macchia made a precise shot to the right of Ronan Vonarburg. aurelFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3.
