FC Eschlikon's Dé Baba got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 minutes, Griffin Bergmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the aurelFC and the FC Eschlikon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Griffin Bergmann kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, aurelFC's Ronan Vonarburg got control of the ball when Mathieu Lisibach tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuele Baertschi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Schifferli having to interfere. Ronan Vonarburg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romero Baumeister's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Dé Baba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronan Vonarburg having to make a save. If Romero Baumeister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, FC Eschlikon's Dé Baba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ronan Vonarburg. Ronan Vonarburg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Mathieu Lisibach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Vonarburg having to interfere. With a little luck, aurelFC's Ronan Vonarburg got control of the ball when Mathieu Lisibach tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Griffin Bergmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dé Baba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronan Vonarburg having to make a save. Romero Baumeister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ronan Vonarburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronan Vonarburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Baba in the 60th minute of play. When Remo Bär fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored aurelFC's protests and gave Remo Bär a yellow card for diving instead. 60 minutes into the game, one of aurelFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dé Baba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronan Vonarburg having to make a save. 67 minutes into the game, FC Eschlikon's Romero Baumeister nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronan Vonarburg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Romero Baumeister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronan Vonarburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Baba, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Ronan Vonarburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romero Baumeister in the 72nd minute of play. At last the ball reached Romero Baumeister at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of aurelFC. 4-0. Romero Baumeister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of aurelFC booed when FC Eschlikon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Baba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5-0 became the score in the 87th minute when Romero Baumeister elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Samuele Baertschi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. aurelFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Eschlikon the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Samuele Baertschi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Romero Baumeister ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronan Vonarburg was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Romero Baumeister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. aurelFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
