Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Grover Huri got the match started through his kick off. Kasimir Amiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grover Huri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Michael Dafond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kasimir Amiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grover Huri in the 11th minute of the match. Kasimir Amiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grover Huri in the 12th minute of play. Kasimir Arter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Linus Teufer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Linus Teufer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Novaggio FC's Jonas Macchia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kasimir Amiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Linus Teufer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Dafond in the 33rd minute of play. When Kasimir Arter came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Cierfs HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasimir Arter couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cierfs HC's Michael Dafond slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Linus Teufer. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. Kasimir Arter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Linus Teufer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Dafond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cierfs HC booed when Novaggio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Earnest Lehner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Linus Teufer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kasimir Arter went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Linus Teufer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Dafond, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 85th match minute, Novaggio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grover Huri to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Macchia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kasimir Amiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Beatus Meyer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novaggio FC and the Cierfs HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Cierfs HC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
