Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Grover Huri took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the match, FC Eschlikon's goal looked a bit too open when Grover Huri came free, but Elias Schifferli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Macchia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Elias Schifferli made a huge save. Jonas Macchia kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Odin Gier's late challenge caught a FC Eschlikon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Odin Gier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Novaggio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odin Gier to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dé Baba in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Linus Teufer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute of the match Jamal Stierli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Schifferli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Grover Huri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Schifferli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romero Baumeister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Linus Teufer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Jonas Macchia notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Eschlikon's Elias Schifferli. Elias Schifferli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40thth minute of the game Filippo Ackeret who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Eschlikon's Elias Schifferli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Grover Huri fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elias Schifferli, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, FC Eschlikon's Frederic Flückiger got a free kick in the 45th minute. A hard shot by Kain Lehner from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Elias Schifferli's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Elias Schifferli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grover Huri's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romero Baumeister was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Eschlikon's goal looked a bit too open when Grover Huri came free, but Elias Schifferli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Eschlikon booed when Novaggio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odin Gier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grover Huri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute Jonas Macchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Schifferli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrique Ludwig's shot from long distance in the 64th minute was not bad at all, but Novaggio FC's Linus Teufer knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Elias Schifferli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grover Huri in the 66th minute of the match. Elias Schifferli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Macchia went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, FC Eschlikon's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Macchia came free, but Elias Schifferli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Odin Gier kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Novaggio FC's Rolf Scarano got a free kick in the 96th minute. FC Eschlikon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
