Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thaddäus Wyder took the kick off in the first half of the match. Serge Bürgler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Ziswiler in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Räss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serge Bürgler. BSC YB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Räss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Team Südostschweiz's Markus Bocchi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Team Südostschweiz from getting a goal against them. Markus Bocchi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thaddäus Wyder's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Thaddäus Wyder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Markus Bocchi. That made the score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. Giusto Pascolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Bocchi having to interfere. Regnier Straub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Markus Bocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serge Bürgler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Ziswiler in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Team Südostschweiz getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Charlie Schwerzmann hit a great ball. Thaddäus Wyder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Markus Bocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Thaddäus Wyder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Bocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Team Südostschweiz's Markus Bocchi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Team Südostschweiz from getting a goal against them. Adalbero Wasser charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalbero Wasser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adalbero Wasser kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When BSC YB's Thaddäus Wyder in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Team Südostschweiz's goalie prevented a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donald Ziswiler to make the kick off. Markus Bocchi came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by BSC YB's Regnier Straub. But to his dismay, Regnier Straub quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Regnier Straub managed to get in a good position for a shot. BSC YB's supporters rose to their feet, but Regnier Straub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Bocchi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henri Sommerhalder's late challenge caught a BSC YB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henri Sommerhalder helped the player get up and apologised. Donald Ziswiler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Serge Bürgler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Rodrigo Räss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donald Ziswiler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Bürgler having to interfere. Markus Bocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regnier Straub in the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Regnier Straub in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Bocchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Markus Bocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thaddäus Wyder in the 78th minute of the match. Thaddäus Wyder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Thaddäus Wyder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in BSC YB's zone, Rodrigo Räss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serge Bürgler came out of the goal and Rodrigo Räss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes of play, BSC YB's Thaddäus Wyder made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Bocchi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BSC YB had won after a very even match.
