Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Keith Caron took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes, Dominik Martinelli made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Team Südostschweiz's Markus Bocchi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 9 played minutes Team Südostschweiz got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Affolter. If Keith Caron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Rodrigo Räss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Südostschweiz and the Faoug HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Markus Bocchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keith Caron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Scott Bieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dominik Martinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eamon Zufferey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Ziswiler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Dominik Martinelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Markus Bocchi however easily saved by the left post. Charlie Schwerzmann kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Dominik Martinelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Markus Bocchi made a huge save. Markus Bocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith Caron in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donald Ziswiler to make the kick off. Markus Bocchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Vicente, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Keith Caron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Markus Bocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Forster Ruckli made a precise shot to the right of Markus Bocchi. Team Südostschweiz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Charlie Schwerzmann kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Markus Bocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Martinelli in the 59th minute of the match. Donald Ziswiler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eamon Zufferey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henri Sommerhalder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Adalbero Wasser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team Südostschweiz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Faoug HC the free kick. After 68 played minutes Team Südostschweiz got a freekick which was hit by Adalbero Wasser. Donald Ziswiler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Faoug HC's Howie Junker got a free kick in the 78th minute. Markus Bocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Spillmann in the 81st minute of the match. Markus Bocchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Martinelli in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Team Südostschweiz's goal looked a bit too open when Keith Caron came free, but Markus Bocchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Keith Caron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Südostschweiz's Markus Bocchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Markus Bocchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keith Caron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Keith Caron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markus Bocchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Caron, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Faoug HC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Team Südostschweiz had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
