After having played for 19 minutes, Gutierre Sanger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YILDIRIM FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gutierre Sanger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, YILDIRIM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liborius Faber to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 27 in the game by Gutierre Sanger from a close distance when the talented Florian Locher managed to make a qualified save. Riti HC's players were relieved. Marino Stäger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamberto Buccino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Locher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolph Rochat in the 41st minute of play. When Francesco Wolf came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Riti HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Wolf couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind YILDIRIM FC's goalkeeper Marino Stäger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rudolph Rochat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Riti HC's zone, Gutierre Sanger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Locher came out of the goal and Gutierre Sanger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Laurenz Cicchetti in the 57th minute really tested Marino Stäger's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 59th minute Gutierre Sanger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Locher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Rudolph Rochat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YILDIRIM FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to YILDIRIM FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Reto Cikaluk hit a great ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riti HC's goalkeeper Florian Locher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marino Stäger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from LLoyd von Felten in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Riti HC booed when YILDIRIM FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liborius Faber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Gutierre Sanger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riti HC's Florian Locher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Riti HC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolph Rochat came free, but Florian Locher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Francesco Wolf fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riti HC's protests and gave Francesco Wolf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute of the match Duong Ineichen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Locher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Rudolph Rochat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Locher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duong Ineichen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
