FC Portugals Glory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Peniskopf the free kick. 9 minutes into the match, FC Peniskopf's goal looked a bit too open when Greg Scilacci came free, but Ferrante Jeker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greg Scilacci scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferrante Jeker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Georges Briard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Peniskopf's Marco Oderholz got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes, Marino Bachelard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Peniskopf and the FC Portugals Glory players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marino Bachelard kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Portugals Glory's Fréderic Bruder got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, FC Portugals Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Oderholz came free, but Francisco Buccino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Buccino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fremont Zinsli in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Portugals Glory booed when FC Peniskopf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatol Sommer didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Portugals Glory's Francisco Buccino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Oderholz in the 39th minute of play. Francisco Buccino made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Fremont Zinsli sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, FC Portugals Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Oderholz came free, but Francisco Buccino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fremont Zinsli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Buccino having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Oderholz to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Portugals Glory booed when FC Peniskopf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flemming Rominger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Portugals Glory's zone, Fremont Zinsli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Buccino came out of the goal and Fremont Zinsli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, FC Portugals Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Oderholz came free, but Francisco Buccino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Portugals Glory fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Buccino should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Portugals Glory's Gerold Hlasek got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the FC Portugals Glory defense, Fremont Zinsli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Buccino. The FC Portugals Glory fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Buccino should have stopped the shot. Francisco Buccino came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Peniskopf's Marco Oderholz. But to his dismay, Marco Oderholz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 97thth minute of the game Marco Oderholz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Portugals Glory's Francisco Buccino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Peniskopf had played much better football throughout.
