When Renatus Catalusci came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Zurich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renatus Catalusci couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute Renatus Catalusci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Buccino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Greg Scilacci got free with Salvador Michon in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Philipp Rausis put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Francisco Buccino. In the 91st minute, Georges Briard made a precise shot to the right of Salvador Michon. FC Zurich's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Portugals Glory players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
