Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Guy Lemmenmeier's late challenge caught a Liebistorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guy Lemmenmeier helped the player get up and apologised. Guy Lemmenmeier hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Renatus Catalusci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Baptiste Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Liebistorf's Joseph Dolder got a free kick in the 17th minute. Salvador Michon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baptiste Berg in the 20th minute. When Liebistorf's Baptiste Berg in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Zurich's Salvador Michon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palmiro Lenz in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, FC Zurich's goal looked a bit too open when Palmiro Lenz came free, but Salvador Michon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liebistorf's Palmiro Lenz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Zurich's Salvador Michon got control of the ball when Baptiste Berg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salvador Michon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmiro Lenz in the 48th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Palmiro Lenz to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Palmiro Lenz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Michon. FC Zurich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Palmiro Lenz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC Zurich's Hans Guilband got a free kick in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Liebistorf fully deserved thier win.
