Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paco Zihlmann started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Reinhard Rochat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Busel having to interfere. FC Delay Sport's Raphael Busel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Naumann in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Reinhard Rochat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Busel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Paco Zihlmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Delay Sport's supporters rose to their feet, but Paco Zihlmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tam Henseler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, YOUNG BOYS's Tam Henseler got control of the ball when Joachim Malatesta tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Paco Zihlmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Joachim Malatesta lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Tam Henseler. Holger Bayers short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Tam Henseler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joachim Malatesta struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Tam Henseler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Delay Sport. FC Delay Sport's Holger Bayer pulled a muscle in his back after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Benoit Amhof fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YOUNG BOYS's protests and gave Benoit Amhof a yellow card for diving instead. FC Delay Sport made a substitution. Derek Pfiffer replaced Holger Bayer. In the 21st minute, Benoit Amhof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tam Henseler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derek Pfiffer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24th play minutes Paco Zihlmann shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Tam Henseler and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in YOUNG BOYS's zone, Derek Pfiffer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tam Henseler came out of the goal and Derek Pfiffer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 played minutes YOUNG BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Fedor Moos. Paco Zihlmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Zihlmann in the 32nd minute of play forced YOUNG BOYS's goalkeeper Tam Henseler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, YOUNG BOYS's Tam Henseler got control of the ball when Paco Zihlmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Derek Pfiffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tam Henseler was a little too slow when Derek Pfiffer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Naumann was the one to do the kick off. Paco Zihlmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tam Henseler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. YOUNG BOYS's Tam Henseler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Zihlmann in the 52nd minute of play. Fidelis Netzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benoit Amhof got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 60th minute, Fidelis Netzer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tam Henseler was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Joachim Malatesta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tam Henseler having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Fidelis Netzer put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tam Henseler. In the 72nd minute Joachim Malatesta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tam Henseler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derek Pfiffer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tam Henseler having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Paco Zihlmann made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. YOUNG BOYS's Tam Henseler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Delay Sport's Zoltan Simon got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute Zoltan Simon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tam Henseler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raphael Busel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinhard Rochat in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidelis Netzer in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tam Henseler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Thomas Naumann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tam Henseler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derek Pfiffer, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Joachim Malatesta struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Tam Henseler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Delay Sport. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Delay Sport had played much better football throughout.
