Pignia SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Donald Duck FC the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Pignia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damon Unger to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Remy Camenzind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Sandor Vogel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Guglielmo Menz might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Vonarburg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guglielmo Menz ran back to his position shaking his head. Sandor Vogel scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clifford Scherer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandor Vogel to make the kick off. Peter Vonarburg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davide Lagnaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clifford Scherer having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Donald Duck FC got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Oester. Davide Lagnaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Clifford Scherer made a huge save. If Davide Lagnaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pignia SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
