Fabian Schaller came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Donald Duck FC's Guglielmo Menz. But to his dismay, Guglielmo Menz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 19 played minutes Donald Duck FC got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Oester. 21 minutes into the game, FC Prussia's Rodolphe Ambühl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clifford Scherer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Clifford Scherer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Büchler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Gallus Vonarburg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Donald Duck FC's Jarl Gschwind quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Samir Büchler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Clifford Scherer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Prussia's Samir Büchler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clifford Scherer. That made the score 3-1 after 42 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guglielmo Menz made a kick off. Donald Duck FC's Jarl Gschwind quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gallus Vonarburg, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Donald Duck FC's attentive Andre Achen managed to snatch the ball when Gallus Vonarburg made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. The supporters of FC Prussia booed when Donald Duck FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Schlüssel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gallus Vonarburg made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Donald Duck FC's Jarl Gschwind. In the 62nd minute, Bertrand Schenkel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Prussia's goalkeeper Fabian Schaller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clifford Scherer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolphe Ambühl in the 70th minute of the match. Rodolphe Ambühl took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clifford Scherer. Clifford Scherer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 79 minutes into the game, Gallus Vonarburg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Donald Duck FC's Andre Achen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 80th match minute, FC Prussia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthäus Kümin to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Franco Vogel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Donald Duck FC's Guglielmo Menz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When FC Prussia's Rodolphe Ambühl in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Donald Duck FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Samir Büchler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Prussia support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
