In the 13th minute, Bruce Garnier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuele Wendelspiess was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Cedric Schlüssel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruce Garnier struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Emanuele Wendelspiess didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ehrendingen. PERU UTD's Emanuele Wendelspiess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedric Schlüssel in the 20th minute of play. Bruce Garnier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Ehrendingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorsten Gätter to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Benoit Gugolz managed to get in a good position for a shot. PERU UTD's supporters rose to their feet, but Benoit Gugolz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregoire Nannarone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricius Bürgi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Emanuele Wendelspiess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedric Schlüssel in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes, Bruce Garnier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ehrendingen and the PERU UTD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ehrendingen getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Bruce Garnier hit a great ball. Percy Gschwind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gregoire Nannarone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Benoit Gugolz made the kick off in the second half. Gregoire Nannarone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benoit Gugolz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuele Wendelspiess didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cedric Schlüssel went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind PERU UTD's goalkeeper Emanuele Wendelspiess, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cedric Schlüssel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Emanuele Wendelspiess tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregoire Nannarone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benoit Gugolz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Cedric Schlüssel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the game, Bruce Garnier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emanuele Wendelspiess. Bruce Garnier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. With a little luck, PERU UTD's Emanuele Wendelspiess got control of the ball when Cedric Schlüssel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Patricius Bürgi fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PERU UTD's protests and gave Patricius Bürgi a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes PERU UTD got a freekick which was hit by Patricius Bürgi. Gregoire Nannarone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Gschwind in the 83rd minute of the match. PERU UTD's Emanuele Wendelspiess proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save PERU UTD from getting a goal against them. Percy Gschwind recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuele Wendelspiess showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Garnier in the 91st minute of the match. PERU UTD's Benoit Gugolz got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Ehrendingen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ehrendingen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
