Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benoit Gugolz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carlo Domini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Emanuele Wendelspiess tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, PERU UTD's goalkeeper Emanuele Wendelspiess had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Shuster. In the 9th minute Carlo Domini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Wendelspiess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Benoit Gugolz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Fontaine AC got a freekick which was hit by Michael Luft. Emanuele Wendelspiess showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Domini in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fontaine AC's James Maina got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 2-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Carlo Domini elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Francois Langelier hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Marcel Shuster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlo Domini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Emanuele Wendelspiess tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

52 minutes into the match, PERU UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Shuster came free, but Emanuele Wendelspiess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Marcel Shuster ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuele Wendelspiess was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 58th match minute, Fontaine AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Luft to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Shuster in the 61st minute of play forced PERU UTD's goalkeeper Emanuele Wendelspiess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuele Wendelspiess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Shuster in the 64th minute of play. If Percy Gschwind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Marcel Shuster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Wendelspiess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Wendelspiess took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Shuster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benoit Gugolz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, PERU UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Shuster came free, but Emanuele Wendelspiess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Fontaine AC's Marcel Shuster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuele Wendelspiess narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, PERU UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Shuster came free, but Emanuele Wendelspiess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bennett Fridli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marcel Shuster came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Fontaine AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Shuster couldn't finish the play. James Maina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fontaine AC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
