Spectators: 7660 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zelimir Wiesinger kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Verdasio HC's Gioacchino Felder got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jonas Studer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Schwerzmann having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Patricius Bianco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdasio HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricius Bianco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrice Mastroiacovo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Verdasio HC's Patricius Bianco got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Lex Aceto rounded Verdasio HC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Jonas Studer took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Schwerzmann. Sebastian Schwerzmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 39th minute, Wilhelm Ziegler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lex Aceto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bug's zone, Zelimir Wiesinger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrice Mastroiacovo came out of the goal and Zelimir Wiesinger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lex Aceto was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Patricius Bianco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veltin De Inierry hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes Verdasio HC got a freekick which was hit by Kasimir Wildhaber. Jonas Studer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Verdasio HC's Zelimir Wiesinger got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Patricius Bianco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Schwerzmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Studer, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zelimir Wiesinger in the 84th minute of play forced FC Bug's goalkeeper Fabrice Mastroiacovo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cyrill Staldegger kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Fabrice Mastroiacovo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zelimir Wiesinger in the 88th minute of play. Nathan Brasseur's late challenge caught a Verdasio HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nathan Brasseur helped the player get up and apologised. FC Bug were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Verdasio HC for a fine match.
