After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Stefan Feldmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lenk's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Feldmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lienhard Steiner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th match minute, Lenk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placide Kümin to maneuver through the defense. When Leo Steiger came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SQUAIRE GAMBETTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Steiger couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the game, SQUAIRE GAMBETTA's Filippo Panetier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislas Müller in the 75th minute of play forced SQUAIRE GAMBETTA's goalkeeper Lienhard Steiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lenk booed when SQUAIRE GAMBETTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placide Kümin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Filippo Panetier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nino Gruenenfelder having to interfere. SQUAIRE GAMBETTA's Sixtus Wehrlin got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lenk fans cheered their team off the field, for while SQUAIRE GAMBETTA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
