Harry Meyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lutger Stegmeier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Fernando Zihler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manolito Frappier was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When Fernando Zihler came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Holsonpt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Zihler couldn't finish the play. Interista Ecublano's Manolito Frappier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Zihler in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Lutger Stegmeier made a precise shot to the right of Harry Meyer. Holsonpt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Zihler in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manolito Frappier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Zihler in the 41st minute of play forced Interista Ecublano's goalkeeper Manolito Frappier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Syz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Interista Ecublano were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Zihler made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Interista Ecublano's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Zihler came free, but Manolito Frappier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Falco Muller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Fernando Zihler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holsonpt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Zihler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Olof Schenkel came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Interista Ecublano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Schenkel couldn't finish the play. Interista Ecublano's Manolito Frappier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Zihler in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tim Dufresne during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Holsonpt fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! If Olof Schenkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Fernando Zihler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holsonpt's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Zihler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolito Frappier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fernando Zihler came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Holsonpt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Zihler couldn't finish the play. Manolito Frappier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Zihler in the 86th minute of play. If Fernando Zihler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Syz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Manolito Frappier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manolito Frappier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Syz in the 95th minute of play. In the 100th minute the ball was on its way in behind Interista Ecublano's goalkeeper Manolito Frappier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Holsonpt supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Interista Ecublano's performance. The match ended with a win for Interista Ecublano.
