In the 8th minute, Bonifacio Jax got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bonifacio Jax was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 16 minutes into the match, Mex FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alper Sefir came free, but Norberto Stempfel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Th3 Coll3ctiv3's Alper Sefir got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mex FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Irwin Soldati hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mex FC's zone, Bonifacio Jax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Stempfel came out of the goal and Bonifacio Jax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel Zahno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Gloor in the 26th minute of the match. When Bonifacio Jax came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Th3 Coll3ctiv3 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Jax couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eamon Carosello in the 37th minute of play forced Th3 Coll3ctiv3's goalkeeper Michel Zahno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Marinus Amsler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mex FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Th3 Coll3ctiv3 the free kick. After 42 played minutes Mex FC got a freekick which was hit by Marinus Amsler. Norberto Stempfel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alper Sefir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eamon Carosello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mex FC's goalkeeper Norberto Stempfel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Mex FC's Eamon Carosello ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michel Zahno. Michel Zahno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Bonifacio Jax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Norberto Stempfel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Mex FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alper Sefir came free, but Norberto Stempfel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bonifacio Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Eisenhauer during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Th3 Coll3ctiv3's Jonas Eisenhauer got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute, Alper Sefir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Th3 Coll3ctiv3 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Eamon Carosello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Zahno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mex FC's goalkeeper Norberto Stempfel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mex FC's Norberto Stempfel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Jax in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
