Francisco Coscarella placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 26 minutes into the game, Eamon Carosello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Grover Quessy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the game, Mex FC's Eamon Carosello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grover Quessy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 39th minute, Alvarez Scarano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lionel Gloor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eamon Carosello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grover Quessy having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Ivan Dafond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grover Quessy came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Mex FC's Lionel Gloor. But to his dismay, Lionel Gloor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Eamon Carosello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Luc Montandon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glattburg and the Mex FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luc Montandon kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Alvarez Scarano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Mex FC's Francisco Coscarella couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Glattburg. Grover Quessy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eamon Carosello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mex FC's zone, Ivan Dafond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Stempfel came out of the goal and Ivan Dafond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 played minutes Mex FC got a freekick which was hit by Marinus Amsler. Dick Jordi kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ivan Dafond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mex FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
