Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Isaiah Papst started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lachen HC's Salvatore Lessard got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Salvatore Lessard came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lachen HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvatore Lessard couldn't finish the play. When Alvarez Scarano fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glattburg's protests and gave Alvarez Scarano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Alvarez Scarano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Lachen HC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaiah Papst came free, but Philo Banz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaiah Papst in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philo Banz saved Lachen HC from getting behind. Ivan Dafond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaiah Papst scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philo Banz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Vincent Frei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grover Quessy. Glattburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vincent Frei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincent Frei made a kick off. Vincent Frei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Grover Quessy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philo Banz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaiah Papst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grover Quessy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Frei, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Glattburg's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Frei came free, but Grover Quessy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vittore Nazzari hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Vincent Frei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85thth minute of the game Isaiah Papst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lachen HC's Philo Banz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vincent Frei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Lachen HC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaiah Papst came free, but Philo Banz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Dafond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Philo Banz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Glattburg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
