Lorenzo Hitz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Brian Ciprella was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Christophe Coscarella struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Marcel Hirter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schuders AC. Wilbur Hänggi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Felice Chassot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilbur Hänggi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Schuders AC's Felice Chassot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Hitz in the 21st minute of play. Felice Chassot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbur Hänggi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Valens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurentius Leuenberger to maneuver through the defense. Christophe Coscarella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Hirter having to interfere. Reiner Rastberger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Hirter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Felice Chassot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilbur Hänggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Hitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Reiner Rastberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Hirter having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Schuders AC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Kiener. After a defensive mix-up in Schuders AC's zone, Lorenzo Hitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felice Chassot came out of the goal and Lorenzo Hitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felice Chassot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Hitz in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schuders AC's goalkeeper Felice Chassot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Hitz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felice Chassot, 0-2. Gilbert Kuhn kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Wilbur Hänggi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Felice Chassot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Schuders AC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Hitz came free, but Felice Chassot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Valens could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Schuders AC throughout the match.
