The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Freeman Widenmeier got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Benjamin Schällibaum threw the ball into play from the sideline. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Wemelinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Bardo Meier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freeman Widenmeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Walthert having to interfere. Odysseus Stuber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonello Lipp in the 20th minute of play forced FC Burgdorf 2011's goalkeeper Joel Wemelinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
