Dominic Geiser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Schmidlin in the 55th minute of play. Black Stars Basel's Dominic Geiser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Schmidlin in the 57th minute of play. If Raphael Schmidlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Odin Shuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Geiser having to interfere. Reto Buccino hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Odin Shuster came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Neyruz SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odin Shuster couldn't finish the play. Neyruz SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
