Basilius Frei started the match with the kick off. If Basilius Frei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilius Frei in the 9th minute of play forced Luzein HC's goalkeeper Simone Hébert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikodemus Kappel hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Louboutin's zone, Paolo Desnoyers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Dober came out of the goal and Paolo Desnoyers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Basilius Frei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Luzein HC booed when Louboutin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikodemus Kappel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Jendrick Soucy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Louboutin's Hubert Dober didn't even have to move. In the 28th minute, Melchior Hurni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Louboutin's Nikolai Zumbrunnen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simone Hébert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nikolai Zumbrunnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Simone Hébert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hubert Dober made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melchior Hurni in the 41st minute. Louboutin's Hubert Dober proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Louboutin from getting a goal against them. Ray Stauber took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hubert Dober. Louboutin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half Louboutin were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Desnoyers was the one to do the kick off. Hubert Dober took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Desnoyers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Dober made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Desnoyers in the 54th minute of play. Melchior Hurni struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Hubert Dober didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luzein HC. Melchior Hurni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Dober read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Desnoyers in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hubert Dober saved Louboutin from getting behind. Luzein HC's Melchior Hurni got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikolai Zumbrunnen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louboutin's Hubert Dober played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchior Hurni in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Louboutin booed when Luzein HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Desnoyers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikolai Zumbrunnen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 79 played minutes Luzein HC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Ceroli. In the 81st minute, Louboutin's Basilius Frei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simone Hébert. Simone Hébert yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Sebastien Koller hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Basilius Frei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Louboutin's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilius Frei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simone Hébert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Luzein HC's goalkeeper Simone Hébert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolai Zumbrunnen. Simone Hébert made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Nikolai Zumbrunnen sent off a good shot on target. Melchior Hurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Dober having to interfere. The Luzein HC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Louboutin's performance. The match ended with a win for Louboutin.
