Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Falco Hofstetter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andreas Righetti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Falco Hofstetter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Falco Hofstetter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbain Gräf in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Morcote's goal looked a bit too open when Spencer Barth came free, but Falco Hofstetter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norbert Girardelli was the one to do the kick off. Falco Hofstetter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Righetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Andreas Righetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falco Hofstetter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Urbain Gräf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Falco Hofstetter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Fiorita in the 82nd minute of the match. Falco Hofstetter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Spencer Barth went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Andreas Righetti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Renens fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 90 played minutes Renens got a freekick which was hit by Urbain Gräf. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Renens had played much better football throughout.
