Stein's Cooper Baumann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Stein from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Desnoyers in the 19th minute of play forced Stein's goalkeeper Cooper Baumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Roland Ciancone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luzein HC the free kick. The supporters of Luzein HC booed when Stein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Ciancone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cooper Baumann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Desnoyers in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Stein getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Roland Ciancone hit a great ball. Melchior Hurnis short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Cooper Baumann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hans Klein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simone Hébert having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Desnoyers to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Paolo Desnoyers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cooper Baumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Patrizio Kuhn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luzein HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stein the free kick. After a rather tough play, Luzein HC's Patrizio Kuhn got a free kick in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Weber during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roland Ciancone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melchior Hurni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cooper Baumann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Roland Ciancone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Ciancone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Stein booed when Luzein HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrizio Kuhn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klemens Gervasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Roland Ciancone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stein's Cooper Baumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrizio Kuhn in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Paolo Desnoyers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 played minutes Stein got a freekick which was hit by Roland Ciancone. 91 minutes into the match, Luzein HC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Klein came free, but Simone Hébert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Hans Klein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stein's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Klein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simone Hébert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, Luzein HC could leave the field as winners, despite Stein having more of the ball for most of the match.
