In the 4th minute, Stein's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after John Jolicoeur fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 6 minutes of play, FCBeresina's John Jolicoeur made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cooper Baumann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erasmus Sauber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erasmus Sauber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Hans Klein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCBeresina the free kick. Cooper Baumann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmus Sauber in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Roland Ciancone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stein and the FCBeresina players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FCBeresina booed when Stein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Ciancone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cooper Baumann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmus Sauber, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Roland Ciancone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stein's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Ciancone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre Gervoletti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pierre Gervoletti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Klein, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. John Jolicoeur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cooper Baumann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When John Jolicoeur came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FCBeresina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Jolicoeur couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the game, Erasmus Sauber recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cooper Baumann. Erasmus Sauber showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 38th minute, Jordan Bauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Stein booed when FCBeresina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmus Sauber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes Stein got a freekick which was hit by Charles Weber. If Erasmus Sauber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stein's Cooper Baumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmus Sauber in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, John Jolicoeur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCBeresina's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Jolicoeur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmus Sauber was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmus Sauber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Floyd Wabe's late challenge caught a Stein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Floyd Wabe helped the player get up and apologised. Floyd Wabe kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Cooper Baumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmus Sauber in the 57th minute of play. If John Jolicoeur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cooper Baumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmus Sauber in the 60th minute of play. Cooper Baumann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmus Sauber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmus Sauber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cooper Baumann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes FCBeresina got a freekick which was hit by Floyd Wabe. After 70 played minutes Stein got a freekick which was hit by Roland Ciancone. A collision led to Stein getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Roland Ciancone hit a great ball. After 85 minutes of play, FCBeresina's Erasmus Sauber made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cooper Baumann was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmus Sauber in the 89th minute of play forced Stein's goalkeeper Cooper Baumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmus Sauber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If John Jolicoeur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FCBeresina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
