Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 4950, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harrison Lagnaz started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Joachim Klein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falco Hofstetter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Morcote's zone, Harrison Lagnaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falco Hofstetter came out of the goal and Harrison Lagnaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joachim Klein in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falco Hofstetter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentino Wy kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The Lacivert FK fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Lacivert FK's Harrison Lagnaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Klein in the 22nd minute of play forced Morcote's goalkeeper Falco Hofstetter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falco Hofstetter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harrison Lagnaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Joachim Klein came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Lacivert FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joachim Klein couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute of the match Edgar Soucy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falco Hofstetter skillfully saved the ball. When Norbert Girardelli fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morcote's protests and gave Norbert Girardelli a yellow card for diving instead. Falco Hofstetter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Klein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Harrison Lagnaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lacivert FK booed when Morcote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Girardelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morcote's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mike Dreher was slow to take the kick. During this time Lacivert FK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Lacivert FK's Joachim Klein to a score. 0-3 in the 43rd minute. Harrison Lagnaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norbert Girardelli was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Morcote's Falco Hofstetter got control of the ball when Forster Eichel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gates Brand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falco Hofstetter having to interfere. Falco Hofstetter made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Joachim Klein sent off a good shot on target. Harrison Lagnaz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 57thth minute of the game Harrison Lagnaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morcote's Falco Hofstetter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Morcote's goal looked a bit too open when Harrison Lagnaz came free, but Falco Hofstetter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Harrison Lagnaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Klein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Norbert Girardelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Harrison Lagnaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lacivert FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Harrison Lagnaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falco Hofstetter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Falco Hofstetter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harrison Lagnaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 94 minutes, Joachim Klein made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Morcote's Falco Hofstetter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lacivert FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
