Urbain Gräf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Andreas Righetti notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Dinamo St.Gallen's Henry Wigger. Henry Wigger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Urbain Gräf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Axel Ineichen fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dinamo St.Gallen's protests and gave Axel Ineichen a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Dinamo St.Gallen got a freekick which was hit by Axel Ineichen. If Urbain Gräf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbain Gräf in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Wigger saved Dinamo St.Gallen from getting behind. Henry Wigger made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Andreas Righetti sent off a good shot on target. Henry Wigger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbain Gräf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spencer Barth might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Wigger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Spencer Barth ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Caspar Bleyer notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Renens's Silvanus Bianco. Silvanus Bianco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henry Wigger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbain Gräf in the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Dinamo St.Gallen's Henry Wigger got control of the ball when Andreas Righetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Kupper to strike the kick off in the second half. If Urbain Gräf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbain Gräf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbain Gräf in the 55th minute of play forced Dinamo St.Gallen's goalkeeper Henry Wigger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Kupper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo St.Gallen's zone, Urbain Gräf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Wigger came out of the goal and Urbain Gräf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Urbain Gräf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Andreas Righetti came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Renens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Righetti couldn't finish the play. Andreas Righetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Henry Wigger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinamo St.Gallen's Henry Wigger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Righetti in the 75th minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Arturo Kupper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Renens's Silvanus Bianco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvanus Bianco made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Caspar Bleyer sent off a good shot on target. Spencer Barth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Renens's Urbain Gräf in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dinamo St.Gallen's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbain Gräf in the 88th managed to get into a good position. In the 89th match minute, Dinamo St.Gallen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Ineichen to maneuver through the defense. Urbain Gräf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Henry Wigger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renens were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Dinamo St.Gallen to leave the ground with a draw.
