Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Scherliau's Albin Dolder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fletcher Wirz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Giorgio Rothenberger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Timotheus Nagel fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scherliau's protests and gave Timotheus Nagel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Scherliau getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Timotheus Nagel hit a great ball. Ben Bühlmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Dolder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piero Meister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgio Rothenberger having to interfere. When Ischy Kirchner fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scherliau's protests and gave Ischy Kirchner a yellow card for diving instead. Ischy Kirchner hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Piero Meister recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giorgio Rothenberger. Piero Meister showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Albin Dolder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scherliau's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Dolder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ben Bühlmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marvin Wyss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Dolder in the 32nd minute of play forced Rovray's goalkeeper Ben Bühlmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marvin Wyss struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ben Bühlmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scherliau. When Fletcher Wirz came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Rovray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fletcher Wirz couldn't finish the play. If Piero Meister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piero Meister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgio Rothenberger having to interfere. Fletcher Wirz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giorgio Rothenberger having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piero Meister made a kick off. Alberto Reck's late challenge caught a Rovray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Reck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Scherliau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Reck to maneuver through the defense. Fletcher Wirz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Giorgio Rothenberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Piero Meister managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giorgio Rothenberger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Fletcher Wirz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giorgio Rothenberger came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Rovray's Fletcher Wirz. But to his dismay, Fletcher Wirz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 86 minutes of play, Rovray's Fletcher Wirz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgio Rothenberger was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Rovray's Piero Meister sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giorgio Rothenberger narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
