In the 28thth minute of the game Fremont Burkhart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scherliau's Giorgio Rothenberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giorgio Rothenberger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rachid Richli in the 29th minute. Albin Dolder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Patrick Mansueti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marvin Wyss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Scherliau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalchstätten the free kick. MarcoMarcus Gersten kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scherliau's goalkeeper Giorgio Rothenberger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guillermo Qela was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Karim Bollier hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The long shot by Palmiro Knechtli in the 97th minute really tested Patrick Mansueti's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Rachid Richli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
