Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) Lars Zweifel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lionel Scheiber came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gontenschwil FC's Auguste Strobel. But to his dismay, Auguste Strobel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lionel Scheiber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lazarus Vogt's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Langenbruck's Rene Hunziker got a free kick in the 13th minute. Lionel Scheiber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazarus Vogt in the 16th minute of the match. Ludovic Balmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Zweifel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Auguste Strobel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Scheiber having to interfere. In the 27th minute of the match Kim Desruisseaux sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lionel Scheiber skillfully saved the ball. Willi Lieckfeldt charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willi Lieckfeldt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gontenschwil FC booed when Langenbruck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willi Lieckfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Auguste Strobel struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Lionel Scheiber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gontenschwil FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Lazarus Vogt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gontenschwil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazarus Vogt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lionel Scheiber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Auguste Strobel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Scheiber having to interfere. Ludovic Balmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Zweifel in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Zweifel in the 44th minute of play forced Gontenschwil FC's goalkeeper Ludovic Balmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Lazarus Vogt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Scheiber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Gontenschwil FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Auguste Strobel made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Gontenschwil FC's Lionel Scheiber threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Auguste Strobel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lars Zweifel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Langenbruck booed when Gontenschwil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy Kuhn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lionel Scheiber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Auguste Strobel in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Langenbruck's Rene Hunziker got a free kick in the 64th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Langenbruck's Luis Blaser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ludovic Balmer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Lionel Scheiber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lazarus Vogt in the 78th minute. Lazarus Vogt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lionel Scheiber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Langenbruck's Lionel Scheiber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Langenbruck from getting a goal against them. Luis Blaser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ludovic Balmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gontenschwil FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
