Rod Keller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gilles Imbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rod Keller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurent Bucciarelli struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Gilles Imbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alienstilt. Rod Keller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Xander Blaser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Kajetan Waldburger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Laurent Bucciarelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilles Imbach was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rod Keller in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilles Imbach saved Lozärn from getting behind. Flavian Boog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Imbach having to interfere. Xander Blaser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Imbach having to interfere. Laurent Bucciarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Alienstilt's Xander Blaser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilles Imbach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Alienstilt were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurent Bucciarelli made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Laurent Bucciarelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alienstilt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurent Bucciarelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lozärn's Jerely Unger in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alienstilt's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute, Laurent Bucciarelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lozärn's Gilles Imbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Keller in the 59th minute of play. Lozärn's Guy Bettinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Alienstilt's zone, Guy Bettinelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Schwyzer came out of the goal and Guy Bettinelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Rod Keller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alienstilt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rod Keller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Xander Blaser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alienstilt's supporters rose to their feet, but Xander Blaser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilles Imbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the game, Kajetan Waldburger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lozärn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alienstilt the free kick.
