With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikita Beich in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillaume Lautens saved Hornussen SC from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Milan Graupe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hendrick Beck. In the 21st minute, Hendrick Beck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hornussen SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 24 played minutes Christy Strauss rounded Joga Bonito's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 28th minute, Sven Rudin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Hornussen SC's Christy Strauss dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. 37 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Milan Graupe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hendrick Beck. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikita Beich to strike the kick off in the second half. Nikita Beich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Guillaume Lautens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulus Meier's late challenge caught a Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulus Meier helped the player get up and apologised. Harold Felder hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Pirmin Fah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pirmin Fah was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Christy Strauss kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Paulus Meier kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Nikita Beich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Helmuth Della Rossa fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hornussen SC's protests and gave Helmuth Della Rossa a yellow card for diving instead. Milan Graupe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christy Strauss in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Nikita Beich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joga Bonito's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikita Beich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillaume Lautens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Rudin in the 96th minute of play forced Hornussen SC's goalkeeper Guillaume Lautens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Hornussen SC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
