Teddy Gärtner kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Gilles Rüttimann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sigriswil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilles Rüttimann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Unternährer in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jack La Rosa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 16 minutes into the game, Gilles Rüttimann lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jack La Rosa. Brigue's Jack La Rosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Brigue from getting a goal against them. Joel Ruckstuhl might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Wespi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Ruckstuhl ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilles Rüttimann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack La Rosa having to interfere. Jack La Rosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Unternährer in the 35th minute. Gilles Rüttimann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jack La Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
Jack La Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Unternährer in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Teddy Gärtner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brigue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sigriswil the free kick. The supporters of Sigriswil booed when Brigue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teddy Gärtner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Jered Sibenthal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven Wespi, 1-1. Sven Wespi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jered Sibenthal, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Jack La Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilles Rüttimann in the 68th minute of play. Sigriswil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Orson Mitter in the 77th minute. Igor Wegmüller lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brigue fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Sigriswil booed when Brigue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Izzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brigue's Jack La Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilles Rüttimann in the 88th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Edgar Unternährer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brigue's Jack La Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Ruckstuhl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Wespi having to interfere.
