Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) Jiri Wemelinger started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Konrad Stempfel made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Patrick Liniger sent off a good shot on target. Konrad Stempfel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Günter Schurter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Günter Schurter kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Quintus Frei didn't quite understand what happened when in the 15 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Liniger got free with Konrad Stempfel in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jay Brandini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Zürich's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Arrigo Anderhub scored to the left of an out of position Konrad Stempfel, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jay Brandini in the 36th minute of play forced Irgenhausen's goalkeeper Jean Palluzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Günter Schurter kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. FC Zürich's Jay Brandini got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Oscar Scheupach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Palluzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irgenhausen's Jean Palluzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay Brandini in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jay Brandini to make the kick off. The referee gave FC Zürich a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Quintus Frei, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Irgenhausen's Jean Palluzzi. 2-1. Jay Brandini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean Palluzzi having to make a save. FC Zürich's Konrad Stempfel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Anderhub in the 64th minute of play. In the 71st minute Jiri Wemelinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Stempfel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konrad Stempfel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arrigo Anderhub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jiri Wemelinger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irgenhausen's supporters rose to their feet, but Jiri Wemelinger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konrad Stempfel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Konrad Stempfel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Anderhub in the 75th minute of play. Jay Brandini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jean Palluzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jay Brandini came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the FC Zürich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jay Brandini couldn't finish the play. Quintus Frei kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes, Irgenhausen's Hennes Favre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Konrad Stempfel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Irgenhausen reached it. Konrad Stempfel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Liniger went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jay Brandini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Palluzzi having to interfere. Konrad Stempfel came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Irgenhausen's Günter Schurter. But to his dismay, Günter Schurter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. FC Zürich's Konrad Stempfel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Anderhub in the 99th minute of play.
