With a little luck, Irgenhausen's Jean Palluzzi got control of the ball when Amos Mändli tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC AARAU's Dominique Joho got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The wind increased when Dominique Joho made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amos Mändli in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean Palluzzi saved Irgenhausen from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Riccardo Schwab during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, FC AARAU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riccardo Schwab to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Liniger's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Keith Lejeune skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 63 minutes FC AARAU's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hennes Favre who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Irgenhausen's corner Hennes Favre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Keith Lejeune quite easily take care of the ball. In the 77th minute, Ivan Lukas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Amos Mändli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Palluzzi was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Dominique Joho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean Palluzzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Mändli in the 87th minute of play forced Irgenhausen's goalkeeper Jean Palluzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominique Joho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Amos Mändli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean Palluzzi. Irgenhausen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amos Mändli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Dominique Joho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jean Palluzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the FC AARAU players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
