An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominique Joho in the 6th minute of play forced FC Green Devils's goalkeeper Remo Schneider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Dominique Joho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC AARAU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Green Devils's Gregoire Berg got a free kick in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Dominique Joho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC AARAU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominique Joho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominique Joho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roby Sommerhalder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Remo Schneider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Spencer Wermelinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roby Sommerhalder hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Dominique Joho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Dominique Joho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amos Mändli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Amos Mändli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominic Gamache to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Green Devils defense, Amos Mändli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remo Schneider. The FC Green Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remo Schneider should have stopped the shot. Omer Lengen's late challenge caught a FC Green Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omer Lengen helped the player get up and apologised. Spencer Wermelinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keith Lejeune made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Gamache in the 61st minute of play. When Timofej Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC AARAU's protests and gave Timofej Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave FC Green Devils a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kuno Rüegsegger, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC AARAU's Keith Lejeune. 1-2. Amos Mändli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Remo Schneider made a huge save. When FC AARAU's Dominique Joho in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Green Devils's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th match minute, FC Green Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tizian Wolfer to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, FC AARAU's Timofej Mazza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lorenzo Schwyzer hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Amos Mändli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amos Mändli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Remo Schneider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amos Mändli got free with Remo Schneider in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes Amos Mändli rounded FC Green Devils's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. FC AARAU's Amos Mändli got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded FC AARAU left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Green Devils.
