The Rothenthurm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stephan Colmano should have stopped the shot. Franklin Trolla kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Norberto Strickler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinhard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Strickler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michail Reufer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Colmano having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Rothenthurm's Ramon Steiner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Uriel Huerlimann. Uriel Huerlimann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Norberto Strickler struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Stephan Colmano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinhard. In the 29th minute Norberto Strickler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Colmano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Michail Reufer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinhard's supporters rose to their feet, but Michail Reufer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephan Colmano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 53 played minutes Dinhard got a freekick which was hit by Pancho Krummenacher. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Strickler in the 56th minute of play forced Rothenthurm's goalkeeper Stephan Colmano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michail Reufer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Stephan Colmano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 68th minute of the match Pancho Krummenacher completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pancho Krummenacher a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th minute, Ramon Steiner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramon Steiner might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uriel Huerlimann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon Steiner ran back to his position shaking his head. Stephan Colmano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Michail Reufer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 77 minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Dinhard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michail Reufer to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Dinhard's Michail Reufer got a free kick in the 85th minute. The supporters of Dinhard booed when Rothenthurm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Schwyzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Matt Egloff made a precise shot to the right of Stephan Colmano. Rothenthurm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Dinhard's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
