All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jacques Hlasek made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Barbonetti in the 61st minute of play forced Walkringen's goalkeeper Bill Walt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandor Staldegger got free with Randolf Aceto in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute of the match Walkringen got a corner. Ennetegg FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleasar Gygax ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Walkringen's corner Eleasar Gygax fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Randolf Aceto quite easily take care of the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Ennetegg FC's Jo Barbonetti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bill Walt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Sandor Staldegger's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Randolf Aceto firmly grabbed it by the left post. With an all-out effort, Walkringen's Randolf Aceto threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jacques Hlasek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
