In the 18th minute Glenn Mehrtens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Bossert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aigle Rouge Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Meyer should have stopped the shot.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Burkart in the 52nd minute of play forced Sushi Style's goalkeeper Benjamin Bossert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sascha Picca fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Florian Bögli could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Benjamin Bossert however easily saved by the left post. 80 minutes into the match, Aigle Rouge Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Luginbühl came free, but Jonathan Meyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Glenn Mehrtens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute of the match Sushi Style got a corner. Aigle Rouge Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henri Sforza ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sushi Style's Henri Sforza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Meyer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Balduin Oehen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sushi Style's Alphonse Barbey got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sushi Style fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aigle Rouge Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
