Spectators: 7594 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) Burg FC's Donato Perktold started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Darius Sevier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horatio Koch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Perktold in the 15th minute of the match. Ernst Bachmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Pratter having to interfere. In the 19th minute Amandus Zahnd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Pratter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukas Pratter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Bachmann in the 21st minute of the match. Amandus Zahnd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lukas Pratter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Burg FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Oster. Ernst Bachmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernst Bachmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukas Pratter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernst Bachmann ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 26 minutes, Amandus Zahnd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Vegan Savages's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amandus Zahnd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernst Bachmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Donato Perktold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Poldi Bader during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Burg FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Poldi Bader hit a great ball. Lukas Pratter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amandus Zahnd in the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Ernst Bachmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lukas Pratter. Burg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernst Bachmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Burg FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Vegan Savages were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Bachmann made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ernst Bachmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lukas Pratter, 0-2. Amandus Zahnd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lukas Pratter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Perktold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horatio Koch having to interfere. The supporters of Burg FC booed when The Vegan Savages was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quirin Ziegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was a well-played corner which Knut Greber managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Perktold in the 73rd minute of play forced The Vegan Savages's goalkeeper Horatio Koch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukas Pratter was a little too slow when Ernst Bachmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 83rd minute of the match Quirin Ziegler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lukas Pratter skillfully saved the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when The Vegan Savages's Ernst Bachmann in the 85th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Lukas Pratter was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Burg FC through an amazing save. Amandus Zahnd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Lukas Pratter made a huge save. Darius Sevier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Horatio Koch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukas Pratter didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. The Vegan Savages's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
