Despite this Rico Banz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the game, Dailly SC's Josue Amhof nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rico Banz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Timofej Rindlisbacher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rico Banz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 25th minute, Beat Schmid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Josue Amhof ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rico Banz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Giacomo Lepage made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Silvain Rossignol sent off a good shot on target. Dan Furcas's late challenge caught a Dailly SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Furcas helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Chemin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dailly SC:s goal. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Dailly SC. Benedict Heinzmann stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rico Banz. 0-4. In the 45th minute, Josue Amhof ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rico Banz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulrico Meyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. From close distance Carlo Betschart pressed in the 0-7 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 52 minutes into the game. Timofej Rindlisbacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rico Banz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
