Roberto Furst made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcus Kaufmann immediately put the ball in play. In the 16th minute Placido Reich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joao Zurcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucius Mahler charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucius Mahler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Lucius Mahler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Breno's Fidelius Vogel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joao Zurcher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ramon Hertz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 22nd playminute. 27 minutes into the match, Breno's goalkeeper Germain Montechiaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvan Guerra. In the 28th minute, Marcus Kaufmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Steckenpferd United's Ramon Hertz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germain Montechiaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Germain Montechiaro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ramon Hertz sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Kaufmann made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Steckenpferd United's Marcus Kaufmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germain Montechiaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Arturo Liniger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Joao Zurcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germain Montechiaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Kaufmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute Ramon Hertz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germain Montechiaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Breno's Jerely Thaler got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Placido Reich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joao Zurcher having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Steckenpferd United fully deserved thier win.
