After 23 minutes, Claus Frère mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Albergas e Benfica and the Lungern FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Sport Albergas e Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Claus Frère. Gianluca Eigner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Immanuel Zeffiro having to interfere. Gianluca Huber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Gilg in the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lungern FC's zone, Markus Amstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluca Huber came out of the goal and Markus Amstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Harald Gilg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gianluca Huber. Markus Amstad hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Argus Grunewald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gianluca Eigner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Immanuel Zeffiro having to interfere. The Lungern FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sport Albergas e Benfica were winning 0-1.

Gianluca Huber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Gilg in the 53rd minute of the match. Gianluca Huber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Gilg in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claus Frère in the 66th minute of play forced Lungern FC's goalkeeper Gianluca Huber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes in the game, Harald Gilg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gianluca Huber having to interfere. Harald Gilg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Lungern FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Gilg came free, but Gianluca Huber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes Lungern FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roth Aberle who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Roth Aberle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gianluca Huber quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Claus Frère had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gianluca Eigner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harald Gilg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Amstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Gianluca Huber made a huge save. Harald Gilg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
