The supporters of Lungern FC booed when Beaumont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michele Lenzin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrizio Zinniker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Beaumont's Fabrizio Zinniker got control of the ball when Gianluca Eigner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garron Fuhrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michele Lenzin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluca Huber having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Beaumont's zone, Falko Olivieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Zinniker came out of the goal and Falko Olivieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gianluca Eigner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Falko Olivieri was the one to do the kick off. Fabrizio Zinniker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falko Olivieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gianluca Eigner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Falko Olivieri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lungern FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Beaumont's Fabrizio Zinniker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falko Olivieri in the 70th minute of play. Lungern FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Garron Fuhrer 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Fabrizio Zinniker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Eigner in the 87th minute of play. Falko Olivieri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Beaumont players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lungern FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
