Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stanley Engel started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Young Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Hörler to maneuver through the defense. When Sammy Dionne came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Young Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sammy Dionne couldn't finish the play. Alxavier Nef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Fuerst having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Nawi's goalkeeper Ronny Fuerst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alxavier Nef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Fuerst having to interfere. Stefan Schällibaum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Renner in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, FC Nawi's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Schyder came free, but Ronny Fuerst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ron Wy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ronny Fuerst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sammy Dionne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alxavier Nef was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 35thth minute of the game Sammy Dionne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Nawi's Ronny Fuerst was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, FC Nawi's goal looked a bit too open when Alxavier Nef came free, but Ronny Fuerst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alxavier Nef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ronny Fuerst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ron Wy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Fuerst having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Julius Schyder fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sammy Dionne made a kick off. Ronny Fuerst came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Young Boys's Alxavier Nef. But to his dismay, Alxavier Nef quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Silvan Wermelinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Stefan Schällibaum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sammy Dionne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Schyder in the 69th minute of play forced FC Nawi's goalkeeper Ronny Fuerst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Ron Wy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ronny Fuerst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stefan Schällibaum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvan Wermelinger in the 74th minute. Alxavier Nef might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Fuerst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alxavier Nef ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Young Boys booed when FC Nawi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvan Wermelinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alxavier Nef recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
