After a rather tough play, Maloggia SC's Odysseus Burkhart got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Williams Büeler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reto Rusterholz's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 30th match minute, Maloggia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odysseus Burkhart to maneuver through the defense. Jordan Clément fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Williams Büeler having to interfere. Rafael Ulrich kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Alix Wechsler kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Basel's Lucas Ulrich got control of the ball when Odysseus Burkhart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Max Giacomini struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Lucas Ulrich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maloggia SC. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudi Perregaux to make the kick off. Philip Rager made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Maloggia SC's Marian Gilli. 55 minutes into the match, Reto Rusterholz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Williams Büeler. Maloggia SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reto Rusterholz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Maloggia SC's Odysseus Burkhart got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reto Rusterholz got free with Williams Büeler in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Williams Büeler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alix Wechsler went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Maloggia SC's goalkeeper Williams Büeler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reto Rusterholz. After 80 played minutes Maloggia SC got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Fries. 82 minutes into the match, Maloggia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jordan Clément came free, but Williams Büeler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Basel booed when Maloggia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odysseus Burkhart didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Maloggia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Reto Rusterholz came free, but Williams Büeler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
